In today’s Daily Post, 67-year old Frank Ismael explains how he and his family moved there at the request of Chief Daniel Popovi in 1976. They were invited to come from Tongoa, he claims. They have spent a lot of money on court cases, he alleges, and have lost good garden land with the eviction. He says they have lost what they believed was theirs. The case will go before the courts. I hope our PM doesn’t live to regret his decision to back French Authorities to be a members of PIF to represent the two territories . Remember, French Authorities only represent French interest and not the marjority of the populations in the two Territories who need their self determinations .He also had short memory reference to Matthew & Hunter Islands are still on dispute with French Colonial power and not with Kanky . Thank you & I pray our AHAYAH bless and guide the people Vanuatu .
